About Dr. Kuykendall

Dr. William Kuykendall is pleased to announce his associateship with Lorenzen Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Bill, as his patients call him, was raised in East Texas. He attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Austin College in Sherman before attending Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating in January 2007. Along the way, he worked as a personal trainer and was certified by the Cooper Institute and National Strength and Conditioning Association. It was during this time Dr. Bill discovered his passion for helping people lead healthier lives, which eventually drove his decision to begin chiropractic school.

He has experience in treating a variety of cases, and understands the needs of his patients from the perspective of an athlete and headache sufferer. Before attending Parker, Dr. Bill suffered from debilitating headaches and neck pain, which came two or three times a week. He was referred by an M.D. to a chiropractor for relief. The headaches were due to old football injuries sustained in high school and college. After receiving regular care, his headaches improved greatly. They came back less often and weren’t as severe when they did come.

A conversation with a former personal training colleague who was attending Parker convinced him that his training philosophy fit well with the chiropractic model of wellness, and the decision to become a chiropractor was made. He employs several different adjusting techniques, along with myofascial release, stretching, and exercise to facilitate patient’s healing. Dr. Bill believes that a healthier spine allows the body to better adapt to daily stresses, and that better body structure leads to better body function and better results for the patient.
